Every program is free for members, runs on tools that work on slow connections, and is scheduled with time zones from Dakar to Jakarta in mind.

Recurring

Skill Circles

Ninety-minute peer-led sessions, every two weeks. One member teaches something they actually use; everyone else takes it apart, localizes it, and takes it home. Sessions are recorded when the presenter agrees, and land in the resource library with notes in whatever languages volunteers provide.

How to take part: members propose sessions in the #circles channel; the regional circles pick the slate two months ahead.

Format: Live video session + written notes, low-bandwidth friendly
Cadence: Every two weeks, rotating time slots
Who it's for: All members; presenters by proposal

Quarterly intake

Mentor Bridge

Three-month structured pairings between members who've been around the block and members entering a new specialization — incident response to forensics, web development to infrastructure. Pairs meet biweekly with a shared plan; the network provides the frame, the pair owns the content.

How to take part: applications open each quarter; matches are made by regional circles within two weeks.

Format: 1:1 pairing with a shared learning plan
Cadence: 3 months per cycle, 4 intakes a year
Who it's for: Mentees: any member. Mentors: 3+ years in the field

Twice a year

Exchange Fellowship

Six-week placements where a member embeds with a partner organization in another region — a Bangladeshi analyst working alongside a Colombian forensics lab, a Kenyan infra engineer embedded with a Tunisian hosting collective. Fellows return home and teach what they learned in two Skill Circles.

How to take part: fellowships are nominated by regional circles; two cohorts of six fellows per year.

Format: Cross-regional placement (remote or in-person)
Cadence: 6 weeks, two cohorts per year
